Country Cottage was founded in 2018 by two Southwest Colorado friends. Their vision was to provide the local community with an old-fashioned favorite... Apple Butter. Over time, Country Cottage has created new recipes of various flavors of apple butter. These flavors have become very popular as well. Now, years later, the business has expanded into creating loose leaf tea blends, cozy instant drink mixes and sweet treats. These tasty items can be found seasonally at the outdoor Cortez Farmers Market in Cortez, Colorado or in-store year-round at select country stores in Southwest Colorado and Northern New Mexico.
